My car is a í94 TS model Charade. I bought it stock except for 13î alloys in September of 1997. My previous car was an í88 G100 Charade TS 1.0L carby, so the 1.3L was a big step up in power. About 6 months passed before I started modifying it, the usual lowered springs and cat back exhaust went on, then I bought Deanís 16's. On went the 16ís, it was lowered again and the front bar was re-meshed. The exhaust was

exchanged to include extractors, high flow cat, muffler, and resonators. Then one night I took a bend quicker than I should have, hit a major bump in the road, the rear end got all loose, I hit the gutter, which launched the car. Suffice to say I was kindly stopped by a metal pole. The outcome, one 16" wheel was split completely (!!!) in

half, one was buckled, another was repairable but now sits in the spare room at home. The front of the car should have been a right off but the insurance company didnít seem to care and gave me the all clear to fix it. The car was taken to Lakeview Smash at Kincumber where it was repaired to better than new. While the car was there a lot of custom work was carried out by DSH Custom Autostyling (Deanís Company).

No sooner had I picked up the brand new grille and front bar and they were being chopped up and remoulded. After several long, very cold nights the bar was ready to return to Lakeview for painting and fitting. After 5 weeks I finally got my car back and
couldnít be happier with it! It is almost finished now (I think), with only a full retrim, engine detailing, and possibly some stereo, engine and body mods also to come. Hope everyone at DaiHard likes it! (We sure do Nath! Ed.)
