A GTti postcard from the Netherlands

As promised a short while back we now have some up to date shots of Sander's GTti. Sander has also been busy making some subtle, and some not so subtle changes to his car. This great looking GTti is a mint 1989 model, with just the right mods to make it look 'the business'.

Externally the bonnet carries an air-intake from MS Design and a pair of side skirts from a Mitsubishi Lancer have been modified to fit the Charade. The car rolls on 15 inch BSA Racing wheels wrapped in Marschall Power Racer II 195/45 R15 tyres. The car has been lowered 60mm at the front and 50mm at the rear, carbon look stickers have been added on the black parts on the door and the handles. On the top of the front windscreen Sander proudly sports the Daihatsu Club Nederland banner.

The engine now breaths through a rampod air filter from RAMAIR. The complete exhaust system has been replaced by a 2 inch hand built system just barely tamed by two Peco silencers.

The turbo has been fitted with a bleed valve and Fuel Cut Defender and the boost increased to 1.1 bar. A dump valve has been added for better turbo response and, of course, the great sound on gear changes. To keep an eye on the boost a turbo pressure gauge has been fitted.

The interior has been upgraded by painting some parts silver, a MOMO racing line steering with MOMO carbon look gear knob.

The pedals have been upgraded with MOMO aluminum racing pedals, the seats have been replaced by Jamex bucket seats and on the back seat there are MOMO shoulder pads. All windows except to front have been tinted darker.

Sander has the following planned for the future:
